 BIF for Educators ‘PLD’

We’ve repurposed our Enterprise Programs into a Professional Learning & Development program for Educators.

We’ve offering our globally proven BIF People Program for Educator PLD. We have edited the core behaviours of Curiosity, Empathy, Collaboration, and Resilience into an online learn and do experience to build teacher creative confidence, and showcase how these creative behaviours underpin the Ideas School programs (explore How it Works opposite).

How it Works

  • Beautifully produced written and visual content printed as the BIF People Educator ‘textbook’.

  • Watch, listen, download and apply each weeks learning content

  • Work through the core BIF behaviours of Curiosity, Empathy, Collaboration, and Resilience

  • All content hosted and facilitated in our social knowledge platform to foster and ignite a community of high-performing educators.

  • Continuing to onboard new community members through social referral, events, webinars, content sharing and more.

Ideas School Programs for
Kids, Teens and Youth

 BIF101 for Senior Students

This is our Youth Innovation program offered for Educators to utilise as an advanced creative problem-solving program for Senior Students. BIF101 uses the nomenclature of academia (101, 201, etc) as entry level foundations to learn and apply the 3 disciplines of BIF innovation:

  1. Ideas (innovation process)

  2. People (creative brain science)

  3. Culture (purpose, vision, values)

Applied learning and doing during the program results in arming students with the knowledge of how to solve problems through the substance of their ideas - and so get the job because creative problem-solver are exactly what employers are looking for.

How it Works

  • Beautifully produced written and visual content produced as the BIF101 handbook (digital for online/mobile engagement)

  • Short-form learning videos of Matt walking through each of the 101 learnings with takeaway tips on how to apply on the learn and do projects

  • Access to a broad range of methods, tools and templates for students to apply across the problem-solving spectrum of ideas, people and culture

  • A bank of case study examples that showcase BIF knowledge in action across different global brands, organisations and projects.

  • All learning and applied doing is facilitated in our online platform designed to facilitate social knowledge sharing and project collaboration

  • All students completing BIF101 (finishing the learning program and submitting a completed idea concept as a solution for the applied project) receive a digital certification of completion and BIF101 brand icon for social use. We also provide a statement of completion for use on student CVs

  • We’re working on facilitating a network of clients and customers who can provide internships/work placements for all students who are certified for BIF101

 Edutaining Creativity &
Technology for Young Teens

Middle School is the critical period for developing young teens into their confident capacity for creative thinking, doing and being.

It’s also the period of learning that schools introduce specific technology programs - everything from utilising online resources to entry level coding.

In response to commissions to provide creative curriculum in support of digital innovation and design classes, we’ve innovated a unique BIF approach that uses the art of entertainment to educate young teen creativity:

  1. Graphic Story (graphic novel designed for creative literacy )

  2. Digital Workbook (applied learning using digital tools)

  3. Tangible Outputs (collaborative solutions as learning outcomes)

We’ve designed the program to adapt and fit within school curriculums (10 weeks/1 term) - from literacy and art to digital innovation, design & STEM subject areas.

How it Works

  • Beautifully designed as an anime-styled graphic novel (epub), the story connects with young teen themes narrated around a creative problem-solving adventure

  • The accompanying workbook as an online ideas journal which facilitates self-direct learning from the story, learning about personal creativity, and collaborative project work to solve the central challenge - what happens next in the story?

  • As more and more students take BIF for Young Teens, we have a ton of examples of student ideas. Our goal is capturing those idea examples in a closed, secure platform so that the next learners can be inspired from what previous students have created - and Educators be inspired by what other teachers have learnt and delivered. BIFKiDS for Local Curriculum Design

BIFKiDS is Better Ideas Faster, by kids.

We call them Idea Superheroes - all kids who have idea superpowers, and are using their wild imaginations to save the future, 1 problem at a time.

We’re providing BIFKiDS products, programs and experiences under the banner of ‘Local Curriculum Design’ for Primary Schools.

How it Works

We’ve developed a BIFKiDS approach that combines critical inquiry-led learning with creative problem-solving to nurture and develop applied creativity in the classroom.

We employ the globally agreed framing of the Global Goals for localised problem solving. This approach embeds curiosity, empathy, creativity and collaboration as intrinsic behaviours. This sets up a learn-and-do experience that delivers on education program outcomes and activates kids wild ideas.

  • New Knowledge learning about the big problems in the world
  • Localised Problem Solving translating global problems for immediate place-based learning and creative problem solving
  • Creative Confidence building resilience through confident creative presentations
  • Reflective Learning reviewing what worked, what didn’t, and trading learnings forward
  • Whole Person Development creativity nuturing positive mental health and wellbeing behaviours & outcomes
